Hidden Valley Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection Huntsville, Huntsville

We had a winter getaway that started out a bit nervously, but it turned out to be a delightful trip! Our room was comfortable with a spectacular view that made it all worthwhile. However, I felt the hotel didn't quite reach the $200 per night value, especially considering some outdated aspects. Overall, it was a lovely experience despite some minor downsides.

My stay at Hidden Valley Resort had its ups and downs. The beautiful lakefront view and plethora of activities for families were highlights, and the private beach was a nice touch. However, the hotel facilities are in desperate need of renovation, and the service from staff could be improved, especially during busy periods. For the price, I expected a much better experience overall.

This hotel provided a wonderful experience with fantastic staff, especially Scott and Karen, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. The food was excellent as well, but some areas of the resort need significant repairs, such as leaks in the pool roof and general maintenance issues. Overall, it's a good place with genuine staff, but the physical condition of the resort definitely requires attention.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and attentive, and my room was clean and comfortable. However, the dining experience left much to be desired, especially during the company event where the buffet ran out of food, which was quite disappointing. Overall, while the facilities could use some updates, the staff made a positive impression.
